    1. Small Favors: Think Inside the Box at The Clay Studio, Philadelphia PA, on view March 2 – April 30, 2017 Opening reception First Friday, March 3 from 5:00 - 8:00

Thousands of artists from around the country have participated in our annual Small Favors exhibition in Philadelphia over the past decade. There is a single parameter, to fit the work inside a 4-inch cube. Some artists treat the cube as a small gallery or diorama, while others use the challenge to explore new work on a small scale. By responding to both opportunities and boundaries Small Favors: Thinking Inside the Box will offer visitors a highly concentrated yet widely varied collection of intimate affordable sculpture.
For this special presentation of the exhibition Small Favors: Thinking Inside the Box we will explore two new aspects, a publication based on the 4 inch cube design, and a partnership with our neighbor The Center for Art in Wood.

    2. Ceramic Innovations: Juried Ceramics Exhibition Wayne PA from April 1 through 29, 2017 Opening reception on Saturday, April 1 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm

This international juried exhibition is dedicated to enhancing the public's awareness of contemporary ceramics while providing a venue for established and emerging artists alike to share their functional and sculptural creative endeavors.
Juror – Chris Gustin, Founding Member of the Watershed Center for the Ceramic Arts, Newcastle, ME and Owner, Gustin Ceramics Tile Production.

3.Cerulean Arts Celebration Cerulean Arts is finally expanding into the adjacent building. After seven years(!) of planning, we are quite excited to finally be moving forward with part of our project. Phase I will include a brand new storefront, parking lot, classroom, plus expanded exhibition space fit out with moveable Mila walls allowing for up to six individual galleries.

Construction should be complete sometime in May. To kick things off, we’re planning our inaugural exhibition to feature artists who have shown at Cerulean Arts in solo, 2- or 3-person exhibitions over the last 10 1/2 years. We can’t think of a better way to celebrate!

    4. Solo Show, HOUSE Gallery, 1816 Frankford Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19125
Henry Bermudez and Michelle Marcuse co-founded HOUSEGallery1816 in 2010 and are joint directors. Together they have curated over 30 exhibitions and projects across a range of disciplines and media. The gallery acts as a bridge between the local and the global at a central location on the Arts Corridor in Fishtown, Philadelphia, PA, USA

We believe Art lends inspiration and perspective to life’s challenges and that it brings us together to create better societies in a creative and playful way.

Since establishing the gallery, Bermudez and Marcuse have been developing and building a reputation for presenting thoughtful and intelligent curation. The exhibitions have incorporated national and international contemporary art.

The gallery also hosts Fire Museum Presents, the event organizers bringing the experimental/psychedelic/avant/world noise/music.
